Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Civita websites, including citizenships.io and goldenvis.as (the "Sites"). By using the Sites you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

Who we are, and what we do

Civita is an independent investment-migration advisory. We provide strategy, comparison and coordination: we help you understand and choose among residence and citizenship programs and, where coverage is confirmed and separately scoped, coordinate independently engaged professionals. We are not a law firm, tax firm, broker-dealer, licensed citizenship-by-investment agent, or licensed financial adviser, and we do not provide legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Where a matter requires it, independently engaged, licensed lawyers, agents and tax advisers carry out the regulated work and remain independently responsible for it. For all legal, tax, securities and filing matters you rely on those licensed professionals, not on Civita.

Information, not advice

The content, tools, scores and figures on the Sites, including the comparison matrix, cost calculator, Program Explorer and program data, are provided for general information and orientation only. They are estimates, not advice, and not a substitute for professional guidance on your specific situation. Program terms change frequently; you must confirm any figure before acting on it. Using the Sites does not create an advisory or client relationship. A purchased entry product is limited to the scope published on its product page; an ongoing or implementation relationship begins only under a separate written engagement.

Investment, securities and independence

Some routes, for example EB-5 and qualifying investment funds, involve securities. Civita does not offer, sell, solicit, recommend or place any security. Civita receives no commission, referral fee, introduction fee, placement payment, rebate, revenue share or other compensation from any government, program, partner, developer, fund or provider. Any decision to acquire real estate, fund interests or any other investment is made by you, in your sole discretion and at your own risk, with independent licensed investment, securities and tax advisers you separately engage. Our fee never changes based on which country, program, developer, fund or investment you choose.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Sites.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Sites, including by attempting to disrupt them, scrape them at scale, infringe our rights, or use them for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Sites, their design, content, datasets, scoring methodology and tools are owned by Civita or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share them for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish or commercialise them without our written permission, except where a specific page or dataset expressly publishes a separate license such as CC BY 4.0. That express license controls for the material it identifies.

Third parties

The Sites link to, and our work may involve, third-party providers and resources. We are not responsible for the content, services or practices of third parties, and a link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimers

The Sites are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that any program, figure or outcome described will be available or achieved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civita will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Sites or reliance on their content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Civita against claims arising from your misuse of the Sites or breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the Sites means you accept the updated terms.
